This week we have watched demonstrations and riots across the United States. There have been legitimate protests and illegitimate riots. Many of those demonstrating peacefully have been blamed for the rioting and looting that took place. Why? Because people couldn’t tell the difference between the sheep and the wolves.
So, how do we recognize the wolves among the sheep? At times, they may look pretty much the same, but a closer look will show us they are two completely different species.
Sheep travel in flocks. They are plant-eaters and docile. Sheep do not think for themselves and follow whoever is leading them. Sheep will trample the grass they are walking on but do not leave a trail of destruction behind them; the grass will grow back on its own. Sheep are awake during the day and sleep at night.
Wolves travel in packs. They are carnivores and rapacious. They have a leader and a malevolent plan for chaos and violence. They rip and tear their prey and leave a trail of destruction behind them. They will steal and kill without a second thought. Wolves are nocturnal, they may hunt during the day but primarily come out at night to attack their prey.
We have been watching wolves among the sheep. Let us be clear-eyed and discerning. If you can’t tell the difference between the two, then study the species until you can. One may seeming look like the other but they are not the same and we would be well served knowing the difference.
One thing is for sure, the sheep have been seeking peaceful meaningful change in our society. The wolves, on the the other hand, have wreaked havoc and are seeking the destruction of it.

Excellent post! There is a vast difference between reality and what we’re being fed by some. We are quick to speak before knowing the facts and judge/blame even faster than that. Pastor Ravi Zacharius said, “The problem wasn’t the apple in the tree, it was the pair on the ground.”
The problem is me.

Yes, very. Almost all protesters were peaceful. The mayor addressed them. The troublemakers were from out of town.

Same thing happened in the town I used to live in Oregon. However, everyone strapped on their guns and went and stood in front of the businesses. The protests happened, a few fistfights ensued and that was all because the citizens were armed and standing guard over their neighbors businesses. That’s how it goes out west….

There is a story about it on MSN from NBC today…”In Oregon town, victory declared over antifa, which didn’t show up!” Ya gotta love them!

Rioting and looting certainly isn’t advancing the goal of justice.

True. Violence undermines the righteous cause. It’s also concerning to see how many wolves there are in police uniform – the very people who should protect and serve

Yes, they are everywhere! We have seen them in politics, the church, Boy Scouts, schools, etc…you name it. They have the garb on of the sheep but inside the are ravenous wolves.

We are living limit situations in our lives both individual and collective. just as the natura is exhausting itself, through our utmost fault, the rules of just and egalitarian social coexistence return to a state from which, today, we look more consciously that they have never been a priority of transformation for the better, such as the reduction of inequality, for example. those who are peacefully trying to show this and change and are attacked are precisely by those who wish to preserve their social dominance, further distance the social and maintain the state as it stands. the difference is that those who are on the streets next to violence do not realize that violence is against themselves. I believe that we will still have days of peace and greater understanding of life among all.

Doing well! The lockdown is pretty much over here in Boise!

Good to know Val that your location is coming out of the lockdown. Things are crazy all over the west coast still but slowly attempting some composure. My neighbor says with all that has happened, next would be an earthquake if people continue with evil. 😞🤔🙏🙏. Let us stay in prayer over ourselves and others.

Yes, I live in Boise. We did have an earthquake about a month ago! It was unnerving for us, but those up in Challis had quite a night! We were looking for the locusts to show up later that night, but only saw a few grasshoppers! 😊 We will stay in prayer, that’s for sure!

I’m not aware of any earthquake. News has to come out from everywhere for me to impact me because I do not watch the news and that’s pretty bad. 😞

I don’t blame you for not watching the news! I just watch enough to keep up. I don’t want to be inundated with the negativity!!!!

Yes, it is! But I try to keep my eyes on the Lord and when the world is too dark, then I shut it out and turn on praise and worship music! That puts me back in the presence of the Lord and I know He is greater than all the stuff that’s going on!

I know that spiritual uplift! Always, I imagine the Lord’s return. Then comes a smile in my heart and upon my face that helps me along the journey. 💕

It’s sad, isn’t? Legitimate co-opted by those who want to loot and steal.
