I find that fasting helps me to be centered in Him, so that I can give up what I don’t need, in order to receive what I can’t live without.

From recent experience, I can say that fasting and prayer have led to some amazing breakthroughs, miracles and a close relationship with the Lord Jesus and I hadn’t really thought about it until I saw this post. I haven’t been fasting out of choice, I just can’t afford enough food but I know the Lord is watching over me.
