Within about a month of the Coronavirus hitting our shores, I began to get videos sent to me about it. Some were informative, some educational and some definitely were conspiratorial. As the months have dragged on, the conspiracy videos have definitely topped the list as far as the numbers go. So why are there so many conspiracy theories making the rounds?
For starters, since the world became aware of the virus, the general public has been lied to. We initially were lied to as to the genesis of the virus and about its human to human transmission. While those lies were being told, people traveled around the world spreading the virus from country to country. We have been lied to about the efficacy of masks and we have definitely been lied to about the numbers. We are still being lied to about the numbers.
Economically, institutions were incentivized to lie about the numbers. If a person died from a car accident but tested positive for the virus, it was considered a Coronavirus death. Every death from a person who tested positive, whether they died from the virus or not, was counted as a death. What percentage did this inflate the numbers by? I do not know. I just know they were and possibly still are being inflated.
We are currently being lied to about the case numbers also. If you test positive for the virus, they do tracing and the people you have been in contact with are also counted as positive cases whether they have the virus or not. You have to look below the graphs to find the actual number of positive cases. A person has to ask himself why are the officials doing this?
When the public is continually lied to and when the medical statistics and the science are being politicized, you have fertile ground for conspiracy theorists. So what can we do?
We must watch and wait and see what happens. As each step takes place for our societies to reopen, we can keep an eye on our economies, our banks, and our institutions. We do not have to jump to conclusions and live in a conspiratorial bubble.
Make no mistake, I do believe that we are moving towards a one-world government and a cashless society. I do believe someday people will be required to have RFID chips in order to do business (it is already being tested in Sweden). Is that time now? Has all of this happened in order to move us closer to these predicted end-times scenarios? Has it all been planned? I don’t know. But until I do, I will hold on and try not to run all of these events through the Conspiratron 5000. I will take a few steps back, take a few deep breaths and try to objectively watch the trajectory of the virus and the governmental responses to it. Then, I will draw my own conclusions as to what is happening.

Well said and I agree. We have to use our own analytical and observational powers a little more, not just believe everything we read or see in videos. The truth will come out. It’s good to be prepared for the worst, though, as much as that’s possible for each person. Take care and God bless you!
Hi Valerie, the opinions that most people end up leaning towards, largely depends on the source of the material that they are getting their information from. And then, just to make it interesting, virtually all information sites indicate that they are telling you the truth and that other sites are lying to you. You can of course, try to find the general professional consensus on a given topic but some would tell you that even the professionals are in on the media blitz to feed us incorrect information, so if you believe them, you’re basically between a rock and a hard place. I do know that Christians who do have differing opinions, can easily get their feathers ruffled and the tone can quickly turn to accusatory accusations, so …. I for one, have decided to state as best as I can, in two or three posts, some recommended methods to utilize that will filter out some of the disinformation and misinformation and then leave it at that. Ultimately, what people do and what people buy into is beyond my control. There would appear to be a wide and often conflicting scope of apparent “factual facts” and not everyone uses the same method of determining logic, to come to their conclusions. Keep yourself informed, but don’t get side tracked into taking your eyes, heart and mind off of who is really important and that of course, would be Jesus and God’s Word. Blessings!

I feel I should be moderately informed, but too much news is hazardous to my health. No matter what happens, my life is in the hands of the Lord. It is amazing what peace turning off the television will bring. And what unspeakable peace will come from studying His Word. There are things I can change, but most things I cannot change. I can pray and lay the situation of the world at the feet of Jesus. That is what I choose to do.

I think there is a lot of political and economic dispute as the virus progresses. there is an emotional and mental exhaustion of people, which leads them to go out in search of work, work, life in general. the level of information is also permeated by economic and political interests. sometimes I think and believe that we are hostages of these forces. the way I found to understand better, has been to talk to my doctor – anyway, I am obliged to find him due to the disease – and so I get closer to a more reliable level of information. I deeply regret the number of victims who each day increases as a result, I repeat, of the foolish, but convenient for certain interests, political dispute vs economy, leaving aside health.

Valerie, Good analysis of the situation. Yes, we are being lied to every day by the left, by the right, by the middle, by pastors, by church denominations, by actors and actresses, by the news media, which includes the “real” news, by heads of state, CEOs, heads of departments of government agencies, etc. It is really hard to find anyone these days who truly tells the truth, who is a truth teller, no lies, no deceptions, no twisting of truth or making it up.
I believe it is obvious that there is a political agenda behind it all, and yes, this is leading up to the one world government and to the rule of and the mark of the beast. It is also leading up to the persecution of the saints of God as the bad guys get closer to fulfilling their agenda of unifying the people of the world and having us break down everything which divides us. So, yes, we do have to take it one day at a time, and our trust has to be in the Lord, and we must let him lead us each step of the way, for he knows what is going on, for sure.
So agree with you! We indeed need discernment in these days….soon we might see the agenda come to the open! Then we will know for sure what is going on and who is behind it all! Thanks for your thoughts on the matter!
